Hi. Its terrible to hear reports like this. Please do call 1098 which is a 24X7 Child helpline. You will be put in contact with a Counsellor if you are facing any trauma. Also be brave and call up Mumbai 24 Hour Helpline 4 Women by Women Cops #103 | #7738133133 and #7738144144. Tell them what happened to you and give them the number of the person who is harassing you. Even if you dont want to file a complaint, there will be something that can be done. Most important of all, Please dont be afraid to tell your parents about this. Remember, If you dont speak up, someone else will be the victim. its important to nab the culprits and give them the message that such perversity will not be tolerated. So proud of you. Hi, It is important to make a police complaint. Speak with an adult, or contact child helpline as @maps4aid suggested if you think adults will not be supportive. The good part of text messages is that you already have the first link in the chain to arresting the criminal - his phone number. Making a police complaint should get him arrested, or post here if it doesn't and we'll raise holy hell and make sure it does. As for the rest, sexual molestation is common in public transport. Difficult to say if it is the same person or different people. Good idea to stay in touch with feminist writers, read up on strategies on what you can do if harassed. May not always work, but at the very least makes you feel less helpless. Makes you feel you have choices. this is important. ALWAYS complain about sexual harassment. Dial 103. Right now, in Mumbai, they have cops specially dedicated to answering these calls and an overall interest in stopping street crime. this works in favor if you work it. You are also young, it is common to feel helpless. Remember that you are not wrong. it is not your shame to carry.
